Diversion Safes Hide Money and Valuables In Plain Site
Don’t you just agree with me that it’s difficult to think of a gift for someone who virtually has everything?
It’s never a huge dilemma for me to buy presents for my loved ones; in fact, I like gift giving and thinking of creative ideas to offer them during special occasions. However, when it comes giving gifts to wealthy people, I’m always having second thoughts what to get for them. And, surely they can afford almost anything and everything tangible. They have loads of money, jewelry, credit cards, etc.—name it and they already have it most likely.
While it’s true that it’s the thought that counts in giving gifts, I want to make sure my rich friends still appreciate my presents. My innovative mind is spinning as I think of this problem. Then suddenly, the diversion safes for money and valuables pop into my mind. “Perfect!” I said to myself! A can diversion safe or book diversion safe would be ideal for these people, so they can easily hide their valuables such as cash, keys, watches and jewelry from thieves.

The simple science behind the can diversion safe goes along the logic that burglars breaking into a home are searching for real safes and sock drawers—the spots where precious items are most likely hidden. The kitchen cabinet or refrigerator would be the last thing on their minds to look for.
It is such a great gift for your well off friends and a priceless security investment, too, for anyone who wants to safeguard their valuables! Go crazy from our wide selections of diversion safes for money and valuables; certainly you’ll find something fascinating. Buy diversion can safes now only here at DIY Self Defense!

Pepper Spray Used To Satisfy Your Physiological Needs
Next to physiological needs (air, food, water, shelter, etc.), Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs ranks safety and security as our second most basic necessity. There are many ways to satisfy our safety and security needs. You can learn martial arts and other self-defense skills or even purchase a gun. However, these two examples promote violence and may cause permanent damage. As much as we want to protect ourselves, we also don’t want to cause any permanent harm. The smartest way you can protect yourself without inflicting too much harm is by getting a pepper spray.
When used, pepper sprays stimulate sneezing, coughing attacks and choking and consequently slow down the attacker. The burning sensation caused in the eyes averts the assailant from seeing clearly. If the pepper foam or pepper gel variant were used, the attacker would then instinctively wipe the foam off – unaware that he’s actually rubbing If the OC pepper spray contains a higher proportion of OC, it can cause inflammation in the mucous membrane and temporarily incapacitate the aggressor completely. These effects can last up to 30 minutes or even longer depending on how potent it is. It is essential to note that the finer the pepper grains used in the spray, the stronger the effect will be. Since pepper sprays or OC sprays vary in strength and potency, some can be weaker than the others. That is why we recommend the MACE pepper spray brand. It is one of the most trusted brand names in the market and simply the best quality ever.

Are You Ready for Online Dating????

More and more women are using online dating services, this is
a great alternative to going to night clubs, or or having your friends set you
up on a blind date.
The internet has become a social acceptable way to meet
friends, stay in touch with family, or meet the love of your life.
With all the positives that the internet can provide, there
are also those that use the internet that feel compelled to turn a good thing in
to something bad.
Their targets are vulnerable women who are looking for
someone to listen. They will ask for information that you shouldn’t be giving
someone online. If you feel someone is pressing too hard for personal
information you should stop all contact with them. Report the issue to the site
you are using as well.
This may seem like common sense to some but some not; never
give out your last name, specifics on what town you live in, or where you work.
Not to be deceiving, be cautious until you get to know
someone, Create and use a name online that doesn’t link back to you.
With your phone number someone could find out exactly where
you live
Try it, go to Google put your phone number including area
code in the search box and see what comes up; you may be shocked
The profile that you submit online on sites line MySpace need
to be full of what you like to do. However, avoid naming specific locations. For
example if you enjoy walks in the park, don’t tell everyone where you normally
take your walks. Avoid mentioning your friends and family by name in your on
line profile.
This is a common slip up for many women on these “social”
sites. They are so proud of their accomplishments and of their children that
they want to share specific details. Yet that is information that could get into
the hands of the wrong individual.
No mother would ever want such information to lead to
problems for her or her children.
Eventually there will come a time though when you feel
comfortable with people online to set up a meeting with them. Take your time
getting to this point though so the relationship can really grow.
If someone presses immediately for a face to face meeting you need to decline.
When you feel ready to meet someone that you met online, follow these tips
- Meet at a mutual location with each party
responsible for their own transportation. A restaurant is a great place
because there are other people around. - Make sure someone you know is aware of who you are meeting and where.
Check in with them throughout the evening. In fact, it may not be a bad idea
for them to be in the area while you are meeting the new person. This way
they can quickly be available if you need them to be. - For added security self defense kit, I recommend the ones found at

How Long before A Gun Ban ?
How long until our 2nd amendment rights are challenged again we will be unable to defend our self’s?
Obama said when interviewed that he is looking for Supreme Court justices that will interpret the constitution with a modern look on society. What will be our defense when someone breaks into our house and attacks our family? Will you be more of a target if the burglar or home invader knows you will not have a self-defense item?
Where will it stop only when we can use sticks or rocks to defend our self’s?
There has been a increase in personal defense products since the primary elections.
Our once safe neighborhoods are not hat safe anymore, what are you plans?
Have you been gathering sticks and rocks?
Let’s level the playing field, have the burglar or home invader not knowing if you will or not have a self-defense item. I say keep the thugs guessing I would hope it would not be long until the word gets around, and crime will start to slow down.

North Carolina Crime Rate Up For The Second Year In A Row

Attorney General Roy Cooper says the number of reported crimes in North Carolina increased slightly last year.
Cooper released figures Tuesday show that the crime rate increased by about one-tenth of a percent in 2007. That marks the second year in a row the state’s crime rate has increased.
The data show reported rapes, assaults and robberies decreased slightly. But the state’s murder rate increased by 8.5 percent.
Cooper said law enforcement officers are concerned the state’s crime rate will rise if the economy continues to slow. He called on state officials to fund prevention efforts and give officers more crime-fighting resources.

Macon County Georgia Weekend Crime Spree
By Ashley Tusan Joyner
Macon police say last weekend was just one of those weekends.
A rash of violent crimes happened in less than 36 hours Saturday and Sunday but none of the five incidents, all involving guns, appear to be related, Capt. Jimmy Barbee said.

Just before noon Saturday, a Macon police officer shot an alleged car thief in the Macon Mall parking lot after the driver attempted to run him over with a pickup truck. The suspect, Brandon Stapleton, 22, was released from the hospital Sunday and is in the Bibb County jail.
Later that day, gunmen pistol-whipped a 41-year-old man while his home in the 3900 block of Dover Street was robbed. The assailants then shot into a woman’s vehicle, grazing her in the back, after the beaten man jumped inside and tried to flee the scene.
About 2 a.m. Sunday, a man was killed and another man was pistol-whipped during a robbery outside at the Versailles Apartments off Bloomfield Drive.
At a SunTrust Bank ATM on Pio Nono Avenue on Sunday afternoon, a masked man shot into a 73-year-old man’s truck, robbing him moments later. The man was not injured.
Sunday about 6:45 p.m., two Macon teenagers were shot at a house on Lawton Drive. Police said the shooting stemmed from a fight earlier in the day.
Macon police later arrested 36-year-old Darrell Kartez Butler Sr. in connection with the shooting. He is charged with two counts of aggravated assault and remains in custody at the Bibb County jail.
Police have no suspects in the two armed robberies and the killing.
“We have some things that we’re following up on, but we can’t say there’s a connection (between the incidents),” Barbee said. “We’ll look at things that happened this weekend, last weekend and things that happened last month.”
Barbee said he doesn’t think the recent start of summer break for school kids caused the high crime weekend.
“Nothing in our investigations so far indicates that. Some weekends we have a multitude of things, others not,” he said. “We just had some evil people doing evil things. None of these incidents needed to happen.”
Macon police officer Jeffery Scott Johnson, who fired 11 times into a stolen 2008 Toyota Tundra at the Macon Mall on Saturday, is on paid administrative leave until Wednesday to de-stress after the incident, according to police.
An internal affairs investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Each police use of “deadly force” is investigated by the Macon police internal affairs department.
A family spokeswoman for 45-year-old Roberto Garcia, who was killed early Sunday in the Bloomfield Srive incident, said funeral arrangements for Garcia are under way and the service will take place in Mexico. Marco Garcia, 26, who suffered a head injury in the beating, is recovering from his injuries. Police said the two men lived together, but are not related.

Self Defense Tips
1. If a potential attacker approaches you but has not yet touched you, make
yourself into an unappealing target. Assuming a defensive stance may make the
offender more likely to back off. Stand with your legs shoulder width apart,
hands in front of you, and palms spread. Tell the attacker that you don’t want
any trouble. If he or she still approaches, use your generously hit the jerk
with mace pepper spray to the face.
2. If your attacker still poses a threat, there are many other areas of the body
you can try to injure:
—The groin is a very vulnerable area if your attacker is male. You can either
kick him or grab the area and squeeze it.
—A hard kick or stomping motion on the attacker’s instep can cause enough force
to break his or her ankle.
—Jab the attacker’s eyes using your fingers.
—If your attacker grabs you from behind, turn your chin toward his or her elbow
and force it down. This will relieve pressure on your throat and delay loss of
consciousness. While in this position attack any areas you can reach, like kick
the attacker’s groin or stomp his or her instep.
3. Almost any object you may be carrying can be used as an improvised weapon.
Scratch the attacker with keys, jab pencils into his eyes or ears, jab his or
her upper lip with a credit card or ID card. If you are wearing high heels,
these can be used to stab your attacker’s foot or hand. Use anything you have to
your advantage.
4. Beware of some defensive moves that can also cause injury to yourself. If you
use your fists, try hitting so that your pinkie faces the surface; a traditional
punch can injure your knuckles. Avoid kicking with the top of your foot. Make
sure to keep your mouth closed; a blow to an open mouth can break your jaw. Keep
your hands in front of your face for protection.
5. Make allot of noise, a perfect tool for this is a personal attack alarm that
can be found at diyselfdefense.com
this loud screeching sound may frighten off your attacker and attract attention
from those who may be able to help.
6. Remember that your primary goal is to escape, and take advantage of
any opportunity to flee.

Self Defense for Women

I have always considered myself to be a pretty average woman – you know, a busy mom, writer, homemaker, worker, PTA member and community member.
I can remember a time not too long ago when I felt perfectly safe tooling through the neighborhood, going on walks with my daughter in her stroller around town, going to school events, the mall, going for a morning or afternoon jog and going to work.
I still consider myself a pretty average woman, but some things have changed for me. Even though I live in a pretty quiet town by most standards, crime has been on the rise. The thing about crime in this small, quiet town is that – just as in large cities – crime comes randomly and seemingly, out of nowhere. This is where normalcy ends for me and protection becomes a prominent worry.
As I have researched, I am finding that more and more the term self defence and women are becoming connected to one another.
Most of us – whether high powered executives or busy homemakers – are concerned about our security. We can be vulnerable whether we are leaving the office walking through a dark parking lot to our car, working in our garden or around the house, or going to the ATM. Any place and any time a woman is alone or vulnerable, she is at risk of a personal attack by someone who sneaks up behind her, breaks into her home or follows her to her car.
As a result more women are purchasing stun guns, pepper spray and personal alarms. Why are women purchasing these self defense products? Mainly because most of us don’t want to use a gun and necessarily kill someone; we want to stop the intruder or attacker in their tracks and get away or get help. A stun gun or pepper spray will incapacitate the attacker long enough for that to happen.
Most of us probably never thought things would get to this point, however; unfortunately they have. The good news is that we can protect ourselves and our families.
I recommend the self defense products for women kits that DIY Self Defense is offering. . These self defense weapons for women have been especially chosen for take down power, reliability, and portability in mind.

What nonlethal weapons do police use?

BY JASON KOTOWSKI, Californian staff writer
Friday, Mar 21 2008 5:51 PM
Whether with a jolt, a sting or a wallop, law enforcement has a wide variety of tools at their disposal to take a suspect alive or disperse a crowd.
The county SWAT team uses to fire nonlethal “rubber” bullets.
The “less-lethal” weapons used by the Bakersfield Police Department and the Kern County Sheriff’s Department are virtually the same.
The average cop or deputy on the street use:
• Pepper spray — Also called OC spray (for oleoresin capsicum), used to irritate the eyes and cause pain. Sheriff’s Sgt. Ed Komin said the effects of the spray usually wear off 45 minutes after exposure. If you get pepper sprayed Officer Scott Lazenby said you need fresh air and patience.
• Taser — An electroshock weapon that can be used from a distance of up to 25 feet by firing prongs that stick into a person, or by placing the weapon against a suspect and activating it. The weapon delivers a shock that causes pain and muscle contraction for five seconds, but after the shock is over there is no lasting effect. Police Detective Kevin P. Findley said one drawback to the Taser is that some suspects are able to pull the prongs out after they’re hit. This weapon is the most recent addition to law enforcement. Every deputy is armed with a Taser and so are many, but not all, police officers.
• Baton — Perhaps the oldest less-lethal weapon that law enforcement uses, the baton is a short stick, typically made of wood, used to hit certain parts of the body to incapacitate a suspect. A drawback, said Komin, is that a lasting injury can result.
• In addition, some officers in the police department use a Pepper Ball gun. This CO2-powered gun, very similar to a paintball gun, fires small pellets that release pepper spray when they break open.
There are several important implications to this article. First, if the police are becoming aware that there are non-lethal ways of subduing attackers, there is hope for the rest of us. Secondly, there are self-defense tools available to all of us. We have choices and can get information regarding which tools are best for our needs.

Should a woman carry a gun for protection?

There was an article in the Bucks County Courier Times about women protecting themselves. It talks about guns and self-defense classes, but also mentions tasers, pepper spray and mace. We felt it was an appropriate topic for everyone to read. Excerpts from the article follow below:
By MANASEE WAGH
Bucks County Courier Times
Half of Steve Rementer’s students at the shooting range are women these days. In fact, he has designed his course around teaching women how to shoot firearms in self-defense.
“If a woman can protect herself, it’s the first line of defense. She is 30 to 40 percent more likely to be attacked than a man,” said Rementer, a police firearms instructor at Pistol People, a shooting range in Bensalem, and a Philadelphia police officer for 30 years. He said he’s met many women who have been raped and attacked.
“Women are better students than men. They are more focused, and they don’t want to be victimized. Every woman I could teach, I would.”
The National Sporting Goods Association reported in 2006 that 50 percent more women are now target shooting. The association attributed rising gun ownership in part to self-defense.
The National Rifle Association has several women’s programs, including teaching women how to shoot.
Web sites selling defense gear to women have been popping up selling tasers, stun guns and pepper spray.
Three women at southern university campuses were slain within one week recently.
The body of Lauren Burk, 18, an Auburn University student, was found five miles from the campus. Eve Marie Carson, a 22-year-old attending the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, was shot and killed. And Katharine Wood, 24, a senior at the University of Arkansas, was shot dead in her off-campus apartment.
Last April, 32 people at Virginia Tech were murdered by a mentally unstable gunman.
A failed 2006 bill would have allowed students who have a concealed weapon permit to carry firearms anywhere on a Virginia campus.
The Bureau of Justice’s research shows that in 2005 alone, 5.2 million crimes of violence were committed in this country.
In Bucks County, more people are getting gun permits. In 2006, 4,874 gun permits were issued. The number jumped to 5,392 in 2007, according to the sheriff’s office. In the first two months of this year, the county issued nearly 1,000 permits.
While Sheriff Edward J. Donnelly did not have gender statistics, he said the percentage of gun permits issued to women probably has stayed at about 10 percent to 11 percent for years.
People interviewed in Lower Bucks expressed differing opinions about gun permits for women.
William Miller of Levittown said he worries when his girlfriend goes to Philadelphia alone.
“I recently told her to take a can of Mace into the city. It’s dangerous,” he said.
Some said that people would face less risk if strangers think they may be carrying lethal weapons.
“We have the right to bear arms by the Constitution,” said John Chester of Trenton. “Law-abiding citizens are sane enough to use them just for self-defense, as opposed to criminals. Law enforcement can’t be everywhere. You need the ability to fight back.”
However, Susan Perry, who was visiting Yardley from New Jersey, said she is against women carrying guns.
“They should bring Mace, or anything they can use to protect themselves.”
Her husband said even a knife would be better than carrying a gun.
“And never walk alone. Take a defensive action course,” he said.
Some agreed avoiding risk is best.
“There’s safety in numbers,” said Lucy Sanderson of Falls. “I’m not sure if a woman should be carrying a gun. And education is the key — how to defend yourself besides using a weapon.”
She liked a recent citizens’ police academy workshop in Bristol Township, which taught people ways to avoid an attack. Like checking the back seat of your car before you climb in and not bringing your pocketbook into a mall during the holiday shopping rush.
Brian Buchanan of Bristol Township agreed.
“When someone has a weapon, it’s too risky. I’m not in favor of people arming themselves. That’s something for law enforcement,” he said. As the brother of five sisters and uncle to nieces, Buchanan was concerned.
“But the best way is not to attack a violent criminal. We should have more security patrolling the streets,” he said.
Mary Morse, a professor of women’s studies and English at Rider University in Lawrenceville, N.J., said she’s thought about it a lot. But she’d never buy a gun to defend herself, said the Morrisville resident.
“I feel the same about Tasers. Pepper spray is the furthest I’ll go. I’ve discussed it with my students, though I’m not sure they would all agree.” Her husband, Steve Morse, thinks the same way.
Regardless of what type of protection you need, it is clear that the discussion is a strong and ongoing one, and the decision as to how to protect yourself – especially if you are a woman – is a personal choice. Have you (or anyone you know) ever traveled and stayed in a hotel room only to have someone enter with the wrong key because of the front desk making a mistake?

Alarming to Any Would-Be Attacker-Emergency Personal Attack Alarms
You are out for a short walk at dusk pushing your baby’s stroller. You hear the sound of footsteps not far behind you and begin to walk faster. The footsteps get closer. You notice a few people out on the sidewalk nearby or watering their lawns. You glance over your shoulder in the direction of the footsteps behind you to see who is there, and you see a man dressed in dark clothes with his sweatshirt hood pulled up so you can’t see his face very well. What can you do to get away or make him get away?
There are many new, affordable and effective products on the market that will make sure that you get away safely. One excellent product is the 130db Personal Alarm. This tiny alarm is designed to clip on your clothes or put in your pocket or purse. It runs on one 9 volt battery, and when its pin is pulled it literally scream for help.
The one thing that attackers do not want is attention of any kind. They rely on the hope that the individual they are approaching will be quietly coerced into doing what the attacker wants. With the 130db Personal Alarm, the attacker will not have quiet compliance. Instead, the screaming alarm will alert anyone and everyone nearby to the fact that you are in danger, and will draw attention to the attacker – usually before he or she can escape, leaving you safe.
Another versatile feature of the 130db Personal Alarm is that it can be clipped to a door while you are home or in a hotel. If the door is moved at all, such as someone trying to open it, the loud, screaming alarm will sound, alerting you and anyone in the area that there is a problem. Again, most attackers, burglars and such, do not want attention, so they will likely leave the scene very quickly.
Keep yourself safe. Don’t become a victim of a needless attack. Order your PAL-1 130db Personal Alarm by clicking here or visiting us at

C2 Tasers Take Self Defense to New Level
These days, no matter where you live or travel, there is a possibility that you could become the victim of an attack. Even in small towns that in the past have not experienced much crime, personal attacks are becoming more and more prevalent. Since crime is increasing – not decreasing – what can we do to protect ourselves?
There are excellent tools on the market that are legal and legitimate when used properly for self defense. One powerful tool is the Taser C2, which, according to Elias Jimenez of the Defiance post of the Ohio Highway Patrol, “is not an instrument that will kill you, but it is an instrument that will render someone helpless.”

Napoleon, Ohio Police Chief, Bob Weitzel adds, “Such devices as tasers and pepper spray are legitimate self defense tools. The constitution expects you to protect yourself if you are attacked. In a situation where you need to defend yourself, it [a taser] is a good option to have.” Weitzel also added that tasers should be treated with respect, and an individual should understand how a taser works and how to use it effectively.
Tasers, such as the Taser C2, which are available to the public, work the same as tasers that police officers carry. The difference is that the tasers used by the public produce a lower voltage, but will still incapacitate an attacker, leaving you enough time to get away and get help.
Tasers are affordable, effective and easy to use. They have become so popular that they are available in an assortment of colors. Holsters – such as holsters for your cell phone – are also available in a variety of colors.
Don’t become a victim or a statistic. Don’t avoid taking a walk, run or jog, going to the ATM, or any other activities because of safety concerns. With a Taser C2 you can feel safe and be safe.

It May Be a Runt, but it is Stunning – The Runt Stun Gun
Even if you live in a small, out of the way town these days, safety is an issue. How many news stories have you seen lately that feature a small, quiet community where “things like this never happen around here” – but you hear about a kidnapping, rape or serious home invasion?
Self defense classes and other remedies have been touted, and some of these suggestions are good ones. In the meantime, however, there is an affordable, effective tool on the market to protect you right now.
The Runt Stun Gun is discreet, easy to conceal and easy to use. In addition, it is rechargeable. The Runt Stun Gun delivers 950,000 volts of pure power but can fit in your pocket. It also comes with a sturdy carrying case/holster.
In the event that you don’t feel you need the maximum 950,000 volts of power, the Runt Stun Gun comes in other voltage levels of 350,000 volts or 650,000 volts. Whichever you choose, The Runt Stun Gun will ward off an attacker by stopping him until you are able to call police or get away.
Don’t become a victim. Protect yourself with the Runt Stun Gun.

Diversion Safes for Every Household
Robberies have long been a nuisance, and have become the rule rather than the exception during the past few years. There are ways to keep your valuables safe, but most of them are extremely expensive or not too efficient or effective.
There is, however, a line of products on the market that will help keep your valuables safe and not cost an arm or a leg. The newest tool in protecting your valuables is the Diversion Safe.
What is a Diversion Safe? It is an affordable security tool that doesn’t look like a safe at all.

Diversion Safes come in various styles, including Peanut Butter Jar replicas, Ajax Containers, Popcorn Tins, Kibbles and Bits dog food containers, and more.
These Diversion Safes look exactly like the real thing. They should be placed where you would normally place items and containers of this type.
For instance, the Peanut Butter or Popcorn Containers would go into the cupboard where you keep those types of foodstuffs,

Grandmother Bashes Home Invader With Cell Phone
Tuesday February 12, 2008
CityNews.ca Staff
There are all kinds of things you can do with a cell phone, including email, text messaging, listening to music and even making calls. But a grandmother in
the small town of Speake, Alabama discovered a new use for the device and it may have saved her life. She made it into a weapon.
It started Saturday, when the woman discovered her porch light wasn’t working, so she opened the door to check on the reason. That’s when cops say a man
waiting outside forced his way into her home and threatened her.
She grabbed the nearest weapon she could find to fight back – her cell phone. Cops have so far refused to say exactly what she did with the item or how it
helped her defend herself. But it appears she may have beaten the intruder withit, wielding it like a blunt instrument until he fled.
Authorities are sure the stun gun was used, but can’t account for why it appeared to have so little effect. “She thinks she was hit,” Lawrence County
Sheriff Gene Mitchell told the Decatur Daily. “Why it didn’t put her down, we don’t know. Then she used the telephone as a weapon and fought back. The man ran
off.”
Police say there have been similar home invasion incidents in the area over the past few months, but this was one grandma who had had enough. “She just
wasn’t going to put up with it,” Mitchell concludes. He credits the fact that the woman’s small granddaughter was home with her at the time for her courage to
fight back.
Both have since been relocated because the suspect remains at large.
This may be one way to use a cell phone, and for the above story, it was an innovative way for grandma to outwit and get rid of a predator.
However, there is an effective phone that will stun the attacker without ever alerting them to
the fact that it is not just simply a phone.
The Pretender 950,000 Volt Stun Gun Cell Phone is non-lethal, runs on batteries and is easy to conceal in a purse, backpack or just carry as you would a regular
cell phone. It also has a bright flashlight built into it. It will definitely be a stunning surprise to a would-be attacker, immobilizing them and giving you
enough time to get away and get help.

The Pen Is Mightier
More and more situations are arising where people are preyed upon or attacked without any protection or recourse. They say that discretion is the better part of valor, it is also the best part of protection. By carrying protection that appears to be an ordinary item, for instance a pepper spray pen, it creates the element of surprise. Catching the attacker off guard allows you time to free yourself from the situation. It can’t be said enough that personal protection is just that, a way to protect yourself.
diyselfdefense.com never advocates the use of heroics or sticking around to watch your attacker suffer the effects of being sprayed. Once you have halted your attacker remember the effects are temporary, seek safety, and notify the police.
You’re a woman (or a man) at an ATM at night and someone grabs your arm demanding money from you. Simply use your pepper spray pen to stop him in his tracks.
One unique and effective pepper spray product is the Peppershot Pepper Pen. This pen looks just like any pen, and will subtly deliver the protection you need in the situations we’ve described. You can easily pull it out of your purse or pocket and deliver 5 one-second bursts of pepper spray – enough for you to get away from your attacker.
